Zumba is a
dance fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto
"Beto" Perez during the 1990s.
Zumba
involves dance and aerobic elements. Zumba's choreography incorporates hip-hop,
soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo and martial arts. Squats and lunges are
also included. Zumba Fitness, an
organization that sells Zumba videos and products, does not charge licensing fees
to gyms or fitness centers. Approximately 14 million people take weekly Zumba
classes in over 140,000 locations across more than 150 countries.
I started
doing Zumba in 2009 and I still love it. Most of the songs are in Spanish and because of that I can also sing along. On this page I will post some songs that I have practiced this year and below I will try to remember the title of the songs that we did before. At the gym I noticed that most Dutch students could not find the songs at home. So I think this can help you all.
